Rock cut basins

Rock cut basins from Azerbaijan

On previous posts, I have called the attention to the rock cut basins found on two Neolithic settlements, both of them around Évora: Alto de S. Bento

e Porro

This kind of features is probably much more common than generally accepted, though they are virtually invisible in the literature about prehistoric settlements or rock art in Central Alentejo.
I have showed some similarities with Galician rock art panels, as well as some counterparts in the British Isles.

Now, I will try to open the parallels to other areas, and with some more interesting examples.
