This kind of "rock art" motif, often associated with more obvious designs (circles, cup-marks, spirals, U-shaped lines, waving lines...), deserves, anyway, some coments: actually, some of these basins are clearly natural features, while some others are clearly made by man.


This question brings us to the relations between natural and cultural in rock art (as well as in megaliths...).
